My fun, light, and colorful visit to the Go Coastal Studio in Harbourside, Jupiter, FL

I’m veering off my usual vacation places, restaurants, and travel reviews for this post to share this awesome store. Full disclosure, they popped up on my Instagram feed months ago and I’ve been liking basically every one of their posts. Why? Because everything that artist Melissa Rinaldi makes for her store Go Coastal is so pretty and encompasses the whole South Florida vibe.

You can’t miss the shop

The shop is located in the super cool area called Harbourside in Jupiter, Florida. Whenever we are in the area, we make our way to Harbourside to eat, stroll, and relax. During my last visit, I wasn’t able to stop into the store, so I made it my business to get there this time!

There’s no way to miss the shop. In close vicinity to Go Coastal, Melissa has painted two large murals, in her signature style. One is a map of Jupiter in various bright colors and the other is flowers and turtles in shades of green and blue. Looking for a great backdrop for pictures? Take a few in front of these. They’re huge! Pro-tip, wear some Lilly Pulitzer to make the picture perfect.

Inside the shop

The shop itself is super light and airy. Everything that was on display, I loved! There are a ton of different products that are offered, all each having a unique painting or print on it. Melissa’s style and color schemes encompass the south Florida vibe perfectly.

On racks are the various swim shirts for babies up to adults, sweatshirts, blankets, and towels for sale. There’s an area with all the baby and nursery decor. If only all of this was around when I was designing my daughter’s nursery!

There’s a section with shelves built into the wall with a ton of other items. Painted wine glasses, mugs, hats, totes, and greeting cards are just a few of the items I saw.

Prints, with and without frames, are available to purchase. Over time, she has done a ton of map paintings. These are not limited to the south Florida area; I’ve seen maps from all over the country. Getting something like this, for a place that may be memorable to you or your family, would be so special. In addition to prints, are actual paintings. Each one is different and so pretty (I know, I sound like a broken record!).

Seasonally, items change. In the fall, pumpkins are painted with the coastal themes and, during the holidays, ornaments are sold. Prints with seasonal themes are also available. Last year, there was a unicorn Christmas ornament with purple and pink hues that I fell in love with. I wish I purchased it then. However, I have no doubt that even better and brighter items will be out next year!

But, the cool part is…

Also in the shop is an easel! When we visited, Melissa wasn’t there, but her easel was, with a work in progress on display. You could also see her paints and brushes. I thought this was so cool and really wished she was at the store when we visited so I could watch her at work!

Can’t wait to go back!

Also, if you follow them on social media (instagram: mrinaldi), you will be able to see if there’s any local live paintings or pop-up shops in your area.

It was so hard not to buy everything I saw. My daughter loved every item she saw and kept on commenting on all the beautiful colors. The employee was super sweet and helpful. I had to ask her a few times for prices, as some items weren’t marked. Go Coastal is a super cool and unique shop. If you can, stop in to visit, see some bright artwork, and support a Mom boss! Items are also available online.

Go Coastal Studio is located at 118 North Coastal Highway, in Harbourside Place, in Jupiter, Florida. Hours 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday and 10:00 am – 5:00 pm on Sundays.
